Schools and Colleges
Florida A&M University (FAMU) offers 62 bachelor’s degrees in 94 majors/tracks, and 37 master’s degrees with 50 majors/tracks and one specialist degree program. The university has 13 schools and colleges and one institute. FAMU offers three professional degrees: the JD, PharmD, and the doctor of physical therapy. FAMU also has 11 doctoral degree programs including 10 Ph.D. degrees and one doctor of public health. The Ph.D. degrees are offered in the following areas: biomedical engineering; chemical engineering; civil engineering; electrical engineering; mechanical engineering; industrial engineering; pharmaceutical sciences; physics; educational leadership; and environmental science.
